
GMCT Annual Dinner Meeting
Open to all! Please register now for the Tuesday, March 25, 2025 annual meeting. Festivities begin at 5:30 PM. The food will be great! The talk will be informative! Support your Land Trust!
With special guest speaker Peter Picone, Wildlife Biologist from CT DEEP Wildlife Division.
Please join the GMCT’s members and friends at our Annual Dinner Meeting on Tuesday, March 25th at Casa Mia on the Green, 600 Cold Spring Road, Rocky Hill.
Social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 with cash bar and dinner beginning at 6:30. A short annual business meeting will follow dinner, with reports from the president and committees, election of directors by the membership, and election of officers by the new Board of Directors.
Following the business meeting is our special guest speaker, Peter Picone, Wildlife Biologist from CT DEEP Wildlife Division. Peter will be sharing his vast experience and insights on Wildlife Conservation and Habitat Management.
Cost per person includes dinner: $40.00.
About our speaker: Wildlife Biologist, Peter M. Picone has dedicated over 35 years with the CT DEEP’s Wildlife Division at Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area in Burlington CT. Peter provides technical assistance in the enhancement of wildlife habitat; specializing in the use of native plants and managing invasive non-native species, restores and enhances habitat on state lands; advises on the use of native plants for habitat enhancement, reviews forest management and operation plans, beaver management and nuisance control, and so much more.
