Lend-a-Paw Work Session at the Wood Parcel
Thursday October 8, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
You are invited to witness, join in, and/or supply tools for a work day by a homeroom class of enthusiastic Rocky Hill High School freshman on Thursday, Oct 8, 2026. They’ll arrive at the GMCT Wood Parcel on the field trip bus at 9:00 AM ready to go to work on their “volunteer” day, part of the RHS capstone project.
This year there are multiple tasks to complete which will be determined by Jim Woodworth, GMCT’s parcel stewardship chairman. Tools needed will include work gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, clippers, shovels rakes, and wheel barrows.
