Source to Sea Cleanup – Wethersfield Cove
Saturday September 26, 2026 from 9:00 AM to Noon.
The GMCT is joining forces with the CT River Conservancy to conduct another cleanup operation at the Wethersfield Cove. This cleanup is open to the public. Anyone can sign up to join the Saturday cleanup crew.
The Event Leader is GMCT President Tim Lewis. Co-Leader #1 is Denise Lewis, and Co-Leader #2 is GMCT Stewardship Chairman Jim Woodworth. Questions? Contact one of the leaders.
Meeting Location
Wethersfield Cove Park, 533 Main St, Wethersfield, CT
Drive north on Main St in Old Wethersfield and proceed straight ahead past the shed and park in the far north end of the gravel parking lot.
Event Description
Meet at the Cove Park parking lot. Bring work gloves if you have them, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks and water. Wear comfortable shoes that may get a little muddy or wet. We will provide bags for collecting trash.
